![]() AVERAGE CANADIANS
Big Credit Card companies are sticking average Canadians with the bill as they offer more lavish and expensive benefits to high-end clients than ever before. Most Canadians say they’re paying more in credit card fees than ever and that they’re not benefitting from better service. And they’re right. Most of us will never take a flight on points or benefit from the other corporate schemes the Big Credit Card companies offer their best customers. But that doesn’t mean we won’t pay for them. You cover the cost of these expensive schemes every time you shop and it’s getting more expensive as the Big Credit Card companies continue to charge more. A new study conducted by Nanos Research for Retail Council of Canada found that:
Canadian retailers and small-business owners understand that average Canadians can’t afford these hidden fees, especially while the world’s economy is so uncertain. That’s why we’re fighting back. Under their plan, you pay more, retailers and small business pay more and the Big Credit Card Companies are the only ones getting rich. Big Credit Card companies need to stop sticking it to us. Help us fight back! |
